Project Page: Dreamlords: the Reawakaning

Lockpick Entertainment is a game studio located in Skövde, Sweden and I worked together with Francisco Robinson (Animator) and Dennis Chan (Concept artist and illustrator) (www.dchan.se) to make a few assets for Lockpicks game Dreamlords: the Reawakaning (www.dreamlords.com). We were assigned to make a set of buildings that could be upgraded in three levels and resembled the philosophies and history of each faction they represented.
I worked as a modeler and texture artist on this project and I was to use Dennis Chan’s concepts as a base and make the actual assets that were to be used in the game. We recognized early in pre-production that the buildings needed to have a modular design for them to be easily animated into 3 different levels.
I finished my part in production on schedule and delivered the final assets to Francisco Robinson (animator) and representatives at Lockpick Entertainment in may, 2008.
I wrote an in depth rapport on the project for my university. It was handed in may 9th, 2008. I’ll publish it on this page once it’s been approved and everything.
Goals for this project:
– Provide assets for Lockpick Entertainment to use in Dreamlords: the Reawakaning
– Work together with an Animator and Concept Artist to create these assets
– Get material for my portfolio
– Give me something to write my thesis about
